After a 3am start to capture the sunrise in New Forest, I spent the whole day in this beautiful area, looking for more spots to photograph. The weather was very fickle all day, but I decided to stick around and see how it develops. I am so grateful I did. After a short power nap in the car to take the edge of the tiredness, I was rewarded with this beautiful spectacle of light, colours and cloud shapes. It only took a few minutes, by the time the sun dropped behind the horizon, the clouds were gone, and the colours disappeared. However I drove back home with a big smile on my face. There is no doubt I will be back there. When the autumn transforms New Forest into photographer’s paradise.
